Finally!!! some nice clear weather, which means nice clear sinuses... and we got to put the top down on the convertible when my dad drove me home from work, which helped compensate for the annoying night that I had. The co-workers can be more maddening than the customers, though they can do their part.
Old lady: "Now don't make the bags too heavy."
Me: "No problem, ma'am." [internal: Um, there's only *one* banana in this bag...]
Another lady: "Don't put too much stuff in the bags, they break open."
The Very Next lady in line: "Don't put the stuff in too many bags, I don't need a million bags.
[Siiiiiiggghhhss... and goes off to prepare a few things for the next chat session with Laurie...]
